About me

My main research interests are comparative politics, political behaviour, and political communication, with a focus on quantitative methods and computational social science approaches. I received my PhD in Politics from the University of Strathclyde in 2021. My research examines the relationship between electoral rules such as compulsory voting, and social inequalities in how people participate in and view political affairs. My other published work explores topics ranging from how politicians use social media as a campaigning tool, to media bias and political representation in UK public broadcasting.
